Fantastic Experience at Kaplan!

The Master of Business Administration program at Kaplan is excellent, though I wish there were more weekend class options!

Decent value for Bachelor's

I was looking for a Bachelor of Business program and Kaplan's offering from Northumbria University seemed like a good deal. I managed to get an early bird discount which saved me a few hundred dollars on the fees, which was a nice bonus. The cost was definitely a factor in my decision. The content has been challenging but manageable so far, and I feel like I'm getting a solid education without breaking the bank. The online portal is easy enough to navigate. For someone on a budget, it felt like a worthwhile investment compared to other options I looked into.

Consistent quality, returning student

This was my second time enrolling with Kaplan, previously I did the Diploma in Accountancy and this time I just finished up the ACCA program. The quality of the instructors is consistently high, which is why I came back. The study materials were just as good as I remembered, very comprehensive. It's reassuring to know what to expect. Application process was smooth this time too, no real hitches, same as before.

Good course, slow admin

I enrolled in the Diploma in Business Administration last quarter. The course content was pretty solid and the lecturers seemed knowledgeable. I particularly liked the flexibility of the online modules. However, getting a response from admin about my student card took longer than I expected, around 5 days to get a clear answer. Overall, it's a good program for the price, but the administrative side could definitely be more efficient.

Anyone know how Kaplan stacks up against SIM GE for a business degree? Like, which one's better for job prospects later?

S Sarah Silva 2 months ago
Kaplan's degrees are generally well-recognized by employers here, especially the ones from their partner universities. It's a solid choice.

Both are good. I'd say check the specific university partnerships for the business degree you're eyeing. Some employers might favor one over the other depending on the actual degree-awarding body.

Thinking about a Master of Science but worried about the cost. Do they do payment plans?

A Andre P. 2 months ago
Yeah, I think so. My friend did an MBA there and paid in installments.

They do! I used an installment plan for my diploma, it was pretty straightforward to set up during enrollment. Just ask their advisors.

I'm looking to do an ACCA prep course. Do they ever have like, promo codes or special deals for that?

N Neil 2 months ago
They usually have early bird discounts, especially if you register way before the intake starts. Check the course page or ask them directly.

Don't think they do 'promo codes' like an online shop. But they often have discounts for things like SAFRA or NTUC members, or if you're enrolling with a group. I got a small rebate on my professional cert through a corporate partner thing.

Is it possible to switch from a full-time degree program to part-time if my schedule changes later on?

D Dana T. 2 months ago
I think you can, but you'd definitely need to talk to their student services or academic advisors about it. There might be some conditions.

Yeah, I've heard of people doing that. It's usually possible but you'd have to meet whatever criteria they have and probably fill out some forms. Don't wait too long to ask if you think your schedule might change.
